Takes way to long to rule on a case , follow up with cases and lack of communication , changes the rules and his mind way to much .

Judge Lorenz has not shown the intellect, work ethic or temperament to be a federal judge. His rulings are essentially random. He also appears to randomly lose his temper, for no reason, with the attorneys. He also appears to quickly be going senile.

His actions and rulings were very arbitrary and personally venomous. In my case, the obvious legal deficiencies of his rulings made him rather ineffectual even though he appeared to want to personally malign the opposing counsel. However, at some point he will issue an unsupportable ruling that will actually hurt a defendant or litigant.

Indecisive. Takes too long to decide motions. The last attorney to speak often prevails. Lesson: if he is inclined to rule in your favor, pack up and leave the courtroom before he changes his mind.
