A very nice gentleman, and comes across as earnest and apolitical. A good pick if you get him.

Judge Covello is an overall fair judge, although it is clear that his time on the bench has drawn was can be described as disinterest in most matters on his docket. He will give criminal defendants a 'second chance' if they show remorse, but he is somewhat detached from the proceedings and at times seemed bored or distant when he is in his courtroom. Clearly the years on the bench have worn him out to the point that he seems out of touch with the reality in his courtroom.

Polite, but in a boarding school sort of way. Judge Covello means well, but he is generally defense oriented on the civil side. Wear a sweater in this courtroom.
