Smart judge. Well versed in the law and new precedence. Quick to understand the facts. Very even tempered. Doesn't interject himself into the trial. Appropriately controls his courtroom.

His tenure on the bench seems to have caused arrogance and a lack of interest in listening to the parties. He seems to jump to conclusions and is difficult to sway, though he does give an even consideration to both sides of the dispute. Most of all, be very careful about showing great deference to him, because he definitely treats his courtroom as a place where he expects humility and full deference to him.

I am a student of Judge Davis and already had developed opinions about him but had to go to his courtroom to see if he was any different in court. He is truly a great man. Politically, I don't doubt I disagree with him on great many issues, but when it comes to the pursuit of justice, there appears to me to be no one better. He is a classy gentleman with a good personality and, more importantly, a strong desire to discover the truth.

Quite possibly the most even-handed judge I have come across during my career. Judge Davis is a leader in the community. He listens carefully to the players in his courtroom and adjudicates fairly. A tremendous man and truly a classy judge.
