May have been before him on bad day, but he was cruel. Threw client's 20 yr old daughter and mother out of court for quiet crying. Took as gospel everything government said and did not make them give notice or prove it. Reacted negatively to client who was immigrant from misunderstanding what she was trying to say. Harsh sentencer.

Judge Brown is prepared on the facts and the law while deciding matters quickly. That places him ahead of almost all other judges. If you are prepared, you will like him. If not, you're in trouble.

Judge Brown was appointed by President Reagan. If you thought that Reagan was a great president, I think that you would probably like Judge Brown.

I think that he is a really good judge. He seems a little pompous but he really is a very down to earth guy. Very approachable. He was the former head of the Government Printing Office but that did not make him pro-government. A delight to try a case before, if you're prepared.

Tough sentencer, but not outrageous. Inflexible re adjournments and almost a rocket docket court like down south. You could do worse. Thoughtful with the issues and engages you in argument. Willing to listen to your argument and dosent rush you once you're before him. IMportantly, I had to wait several hours for an appearance before him once and that was distressing.
