This judge is anything but impartial. He took no action on my case for years, which, along with the gross legal misconduct on the part of the lawyers, totally destroyed my chance for justice. He is arrogant and verbally abusive. He held a last-minute conference on a holiday, and then the federal docket and case file were falsified. He has hurt and damaged so many people. It's too bad that the Bar Association hasn't the integrity or the courage to disbar him.

Judge Robinson oversaw a civil class action in which I was the plaintiff. He was always fair and well educated regarding the case and the complex legal arguments brought before him. He was quick to stop abuses by the defendants and issued reasonable sanctions against them. I observed him handle a criminal case in which he was quite fair towards the defendant. He is a passionate man who clearly cares about equality for all. This all said, my case was delayed nearly three years, because he simply could not send out the required letters to get the case moving along. This action alone left much disappointment amongst those I represented and caused the Discovery process to grind to a halt. If he was not one of the slowest Federal Judges in all of America, I would have given him 8-10 stars across the board. Let’s hope that he is faster with his clients now that he is in private practice.

Judge flew into a rage on a minor application for adjournment. No clear reason behind it, unless he didn't like the look of me.

What is this guy thinking? I am so tired our our country''s constitution being trampled on for anyone who is NOT a white, born-here, LEGAL american. I am so sick of hearing our country being torn down. I doubt there will be anything left for our grandchildren. Nothing will be 'american' anymore. I cannot believe he is still in the position he is in. WAKE UP AMERICA!!!Before it is too late (if it isn''t already) ONE VOTE PER PERSON!!!

has huge backlog in cases and cannot get work done in anything approaching timely manner; does not seem to care about how this affects litigants or lawyers; is alternatively nasty and charming; moody; seems oblivious to the impact his dilitariness is having for real life people.

Judge Stephen C. Robinson (I couldn't call him Honorable) he doesn't know the meaning of the word. The way he handled the Bernie Kerik case was despicable, and over the top. He not only ruined Bernie, he annihilate his family too. Bernie admitted wrongdoing, a fair punishment was in order. Bernie was also a hero, so a certain amount of mercy was also in order. This Judge is not worthy of his robe, the lowest of low.

Judge Stephen C.Robinson is a true professional and appears to be fair for both sides. I have been an juror for his court and noticed much respect for him. Straight shooter and not afraid to voice his thoughts.

This man took three years to decide on whether to allow the Village of Port Chester to have elections. He believed they were violating civil rights because a hispanic wasn't elected to the village board.

A consummate professional. He brings a deep knowledge of the criminal justice system to the bench, and is equally exacting on defense lawyers and AUSAs. The previous commentator might perhaps have benefited from a less partisan account of the Kerik case. Mr. Kerik flagrantly violated a court-issued protective order in an attempt to taint the jury pool. Mr. Kerik's past accomplishments, achievements, and risk of flight are inapposite to whether he might again attempt to obstruct justice. Which is probably why the Court of Appeals affirmed the decision to revoke Mr. Kerik's bail (http://online.wsj.com/article/BT-CO-20091028-720759.html)

Fox News has publicly embarrassed and disgraced Judge Robinson when they reported on his disgraceful decision to jail Mr. Kerik without bail. Mr. Kerik's past accomplishments, achievments and risk of jumping bail were not taken into consideration by Judge Robinson. What a loser this guy is, he must be an angry man without a life. I hope Congressman Rangal and other known corrupt politicians in Washington get half as much judicial backwash as Mr. Kerik got. Oh yeah, Mr. Kerik isn't black, that explains everything.

A gentleman who shows defendants and their attorneys the same respect shown to government attorneys. Willing to listen to arguments from both sides but with an inclination towards the prosecution. On close issues, will generally side with the prosecution. Wonderful temperament and sense of humor and does not take himself too seriously.

The judge is prejudiced and lazy. I appeared before him and was screamed at for 25 minutes for what appeared to be no reason - he was just in a bad mood. Clerks look terrified of him.

A tough, fair, hard working judge. In my experience, a top legal mind unafraid of dealing with the hardest of cases and issues.
