I beleive the comment 'Possesses a condescending attitude hardly commensurate with his abilities, and is the epitome of vindictiveness at sentencing' is a fair and just assesment of his abilities, approach, and ill informed. Unfortunate this person has the ability to affect lives in the name of justice.

THIS MAN IS A TRUE CHAMPION OF ENVIROMENTAL FORESIGHT & FAIRNESS.JUDGE BEISTLINES RULEING ON DRILLING IN ALASKA GIVES HOPE THAT THE SCALES OF JUSTICE ARE BALANCED & BLIND TO OUTSIDE FORCES. JUDGE B. IS A HERO!!!!!

Judge Beistline is one of the worst federal judges on the bench. He is intellectually lazy and lacks ability. His rulings are not prompt and his written rulings lack scholarship.

Possibly the most intellectually limited jurist that I've ever had the misfortune to encounter. No attempt to disguise pro-AUSA bias and takes a position well in advance of evidentiary presentation. Possesses a condescending attitude hardly commensurate with his abilities, and is the epitome of vindictiveness at sentencing.
