I found this man to be honest and a true honor to work with. He showed no bias even towards himself. I have nothing but respect for the way this man conducted himself as a federal judge for the judicial system of this nation. If only we had more like him.

I have never before been in front of such a brash, horrific judge who had absolutely no regard for constitutional rights, common decency or even a heart.

Of what I know of him...he is unreasonable, he is prejudice, vindictive, and spiteful man. He was a very irritable and gruffy old man in a case I read about. Extremely unfair and unlawful. He knew the truth and ignored it...being biased toward a man that served our country and had an unblemished record. He did not allow information that would have exonerated this gentleman. He should retire.

One of the best judges I've ever practiced in front of, and I've litigated all over the country. He runs a tight courtroom, and expects lawyers to be ready and know their stuff. He runs a very fair, almost appeal-proof trial. In criminal cases, he often imposes harsh sentences, but usually is open to reason. I am always very happy to have my cases assigned to him.

Just another old ignorant southern judge whose type hopefully will soon pass the scene just be attrition. He is part of another Southern tradition marked by great stupidity and ignorance. He is mean, vindictive, and does not care what the law is if he wants a decided result. He is also protective of locals in civil litiation...to a prejudicial fault. He is an awful person and an awful judge.
