Marked and profound bias against civil rights litigants. Does not enforce discovery obligations and ignores the rules of evidence at trial.

Judge Hamilton was the judge in the 2006 U.S. Supreme Court case United States v. Gonzalez-Lopez who refused to permit a criminal defendant the attorney of his choice, sanctioned both his chosen counsel and replacement counsel - which sanctions were thrown out on appeal by the 8th Circuit and who eventually had to recuse herself when the case was overturned by the 8th Circuit - which result was upheld by the Supreme Court.

A very smart, fair judge in a criminal or habeas matter.
