This woman is flat out stupid in relation to many other fine jurists in this District. She is also petty, nit-picking, and temperamental in all things. Clearly it was more important to appoint the first 'openly lesbian' magistrate than it was to go with someone actually qualified and/or competent. Avoid her if you can.

Sacramento deserved better than this. She is clearly unfit and unqualified to handle civil matters.

Clearly the most incompetent magistrate in the Eastern District. Has no business presiding over civil matters, and constantly creates problems for litigants appearing in her courtrooms based on her misunderstanding and mis-application of basic legal principles. How she made the bench is a complete mystery to anyone who practices in Sacramento. Pro se inmates have a better grasp of the law.
