The previous attorneys here are 100% right. Judge Savage will absolutely make your life a living hell. Good luck trying to get anything done. He is absolutely a bully, and I agree with one of the previous people here - settle if you draw him, regardless of what side you are on. He is a loose canon, unpredictable, and an absolute disgrace to the federal bench. A political appointee plain and simple. He has no regard for the intricacy of any type of litigation. He has absolutely no judicial temperament whatsoever.

He sent not one, but two federal orders to my residence stating that my complaint was frivolous. He obviously does not care about the 'American Culture' due to those orders guaranteeing me a settlement. As you can read some of the low ratings he received, he is some type of Freemason going after his name. He is forbidden to the Eastern District of Pennsylvania federal courts. He should honestly be federally prosecuted for his conduct for him being a thief of nature. He tells his own story. That's not for any judge to do. The people vote the president in, the president elects the judge, the senate sanctions, the people offers to the senate. He's clearly not for the people. It's okay to help people. He left me in disbelief. Why should a previous liquor board hearing examiner be admitted a judge? He has a frivolous background to be exact. He has to still be studying and running late. Sorry. 'Freedom of Speech'

The power has gone to this guy's head. He should not be on the bench -- or even near the bench. He is a self-important bully. Settle if you draw him, plaintiff or defendant. He will make your life a living hell -- he will misunderstand your case and misapply the law. (Maybe the liquor board should have been his last stop.)

I am / was a defendant before judge Savage. I have been wrongly accused and I feel that he was one of the few people who I came in contact with in the 'system' that was fair. I believe he knows that the jury's verdict was incorrect & did not reflect the instruction he gave them as to the law. I was very impressed by how carefully he listened and watched what was happening in the courtroom. In my opinion he did everything in his power to allow me to have a fair trial. At present I was found guilty by a jury that did not have the capacity to understand the law as it was explained to them by judge Savage. His real mettle will be shown when he decides my post verdict motion(s).

Never been before him, but was on a CLE panel with him recently. He was appointed by Bush Junior after an extended career at the PA Liquor Control Board. In my opinion he came on as an uninformed, self-important, insecure bully -- a doppelganger of Bush Junior himself. When I am unfortunate enough to draw this judge I am going to settle ASAP.

I think he will grow as a federal judge when he stops feeling he needs to prove he is smarter than other people in the courtroom. He listens to arguments and tries to do the right thing. He is not courageous enough to explain and stick his neck out, but may get there. He was a very experienced trial lawyer before going on the bench.

The name says it all; he will savage both parties for no apparent reason and does not care that his snap judgments are wrong and can cost the parties a fortune in useless litigation efforts.
