As a senior lit support person who's been in front of numerous Federal Judges, she is by far the most amazing District Judge I have ever encountered. She is fast on her feet, can spot bs and is extremely intelligent (She reminds of Edie Falco's Camela Soprano). In my patent case, she understood extremely complicated patent language and mechanisms. Present your case honestly and efficiently, and you shouldn't have any problems. Do not try any fanfare and phrase your questions intelligently, but simple enough for the jury to understand. Be sure to breakdown any terms a layman would not understand. If she sees you're trying to get one past the jury, she may call you out on it, by asking her own questions. She truly covers herself for appeal on every aspect. If she asks for the law on an issue, get it to her! If she asks for a case that demonstrates the law, then get it to her! She will chop up your briefs if what she wants isn't in them. And be sure to object timely.
