The judge is timely, and properly insists on compliance with his orders, but his calendar is unnecessarily rigid. His clerk is excellent. The judge doesn't hold motion hearings in civil cases so his weird temperament is not well known. He is erratic in judgment and temperament. His legal scholarship is poor or he is intellectually lazy; he shows a frightening tendency to jump to erroneous conclusions, and is inconsistent. He is far from the worst judge in the district, but is at the wrong end.
