Judge Love is a classic example of why a trial judge should have litigation experience before advancing to the bench. He pays scant attention to evidentiary rules and has no time for inconvenient legal doctrine such as qualified immunity. I'll second the 'results oriented' comment made earlier. He is largely led around by his staff attorneys, who are far more capable. He's on my 'never consent' list.
