Judge Ellis, like all judges, is supposed to be a neutral arbitrator between the prosecution and the defense. His comments, or rather his biased personal opinions, in court today (May 4, 2018) in relation to Paul Manafort and the Mueller investigation were completely inappropriate and unprofessional. He had not even read the document from Rod Rosenstein which addresses the scope of the Mueller investigation. An elderly and biased Republican judge should no longer be on the bench.
