This judge is very industrious and listens thoroughly to all parties. In coordinating an MSC between multiple lawyers, he was willing to begin the conference at 6am to accomodate everyone's schedule and skipped lunch to help reach settlement. He is extremely punctual, probably due to his military background. He and/or his clerks seem to be in chambers from 6:30am till at least 5:30pm most days. He is also strict about discovery and discovery deadlines. He is disinclined to bifurcate discovery timelines. He explains processes (E&Es and MSCs) to clients at length which can be duplicative if you've already told them the purpose and expectations.
