In Court, this judge is a gentleman. In his ultimate rulings he seems unfair. The only problem is that he has very different, odd pretrial rules, which he strictly follows. While in pretrial he is very strict on deadlines, and is very form over substance, his actual courtroom demeanor and trial management belie this. Jury is still out, but he seems to be a rising star, and not a political hack at all.
