THE ROBING ROOM

Judge Rosen is always extremely well-prepared. He will know the record of the case inside and out. If he conducts oral arguments on a dispositive motion, they will be lengthy and very probing. He is very bright, but unfortunately quite biased against plaintiffs in employment, civil rights and personal injury litigation. He plays a hands-on role in settlement conferences, and will dedicate substantial time to trying to settle cases. He just needs to learn to be more fair to individual litigants in employment, civil rights and personal injury cases.
