Horrible judge. In response to the poster of Comment #9206, it appears from your comments that you have never appeared before him. Given your love for his 'background,' are you one of his former Sonnenshein partners? He makes little effort to follow the law, is egregiously biased against consumers, and has been thrown off cases by the Ninth Circuit after reversals because of his bias or appearance of bias. He also is completely lazy, and looks for any way to get rid of a case. An unpleasant fellow, who likes to snicker with his law clerks as he surprises you with his absurd procedural rulings. Our firm's least favorite CD judge.
