Judge Ellis's ruling to not rescind Madoff's bail is ill-conceived.  Madoff is a classic con man and is likely looking for a private aircraft to get him out of the country.  Ankle bracelets are not infallible.  In addition, a privately hired security team to 'ensure' one's own retention is like the fox watching the henhouse. This is another blow to our trust in the American financial markets that are already low and sinking lower. Poor ruling by Judge Ellis.
