Judge Grand has handled a couple of settlement conferences on my cases, and I found him to be very good at getting the parties to the table. He handled the conferences as a facilitator, and while we did not settle the cases, it wasn't because of any lack in his efforts or his skill. I think he is a good asset to the ED Mich bench.
