These other comments about Judge Droney being slow in acting on motions might be true - I don't know. But I had a recent civil case with him and liked the way he handled it and he was very easy to deal with and a real gentleman. He's fair on the bench during trials. If is his major fault is failing to get motion rulings out, that is unfortunate but a couple of judges on our bench who act quickly on motions also happen to be our worst judges. All in all, I'd prefer Judge Droney. Better to wait for a decent ruling than get a quick one from a judge with an agenda.
