Hardest working judge in California. Has huge caseload, and manages them all very well. Excellent demeanor, treats everyone with dignity. Leans somewhat towards the goverment in criminal cases, as he is a former prosecutor himself. But that is no surprise. In close calls, if he is provided with relevant, accurate and applicable law, he will rule accordingly. He does not want to be overturned by the appellate court. A true believer in the justice system, and very, very well respected.
