One of the best judges I've ever practiced in front of, and I've litigated all over the country. He runs a tight courtroom, and expects lawyers to be ready and know their stuff. He runs a very fair, almost appeal-proof trial. In criminal cases, he often imposes harsh sentences, but usually is open to reason. I am always very happy to have my cases assigned to him.
