My grandson was recently sentenced to 14 years in prison as the result of attempt to entice minor over the internet. He was the subject of a sting operation. Judge Reade was harsh in her comments at the sentencing. I wonder if the letters of support sent on his behalf were even read by her or if she had already made up her mind. Our entire family has been shaken by the severity of the sentence. My grandson was remorseful for his actions and hoped for some compassion in the sentencing. I wonder about the justice system and what real justice is.
