Judge Feldman has a razor-sharp mind. He will make points that are legally correct, but often not the obvious or immediate answer, so be prepared. He is very even-handed to both plaintiffs and defendants - and I have represented both before him. Although I have not always won, I have never questioned his fairness to my client - or my opponent. He is a friendly, engaging judge and is respectful to both counsel and litigants. The one thing to watch is that he is so committed to fairness that he will often pick up the ball for the side with the worse counsel and really do the research for them. And he holds good counsel to high standards. That is probably correct, but it can be frustrating when you are rolling over opposing counsel.
