THE ROBING ROOM

I have had a number of opportunities to appear before judges in the Northern District concerning civil matters, including Judge Der-Yeghiayan many times. I have a number of colleagues that find it a pleasure to appear before him and wish that more judges in the district were like him. In my opinion, I have always found him to be fair and evenhanded. I know that I must always have my 'A' game since he holds attorneys to the highest standard and expects the best from those of us that appear before him - timeliness, knowledge of rules and procedures, civility, and demeanor.
