I don't personally hold a grudge against Judge Brooks, but I found him to be disturbing. He is utterly unpredictable. Have had several cases with him. On one, he completely dressed me down in front of everyone at a settlement conference for something incredibly petty. I was utterly shocked at the anger and hatred pouring from his eyes. It was so off-base that I was searching my mind, wondering if somehow I had offended him in the past. I could think of nothing. Classic small man moment. In another case, he did the same to opposing counsel. When I saw this the second time, I realized that he was mentally unstable. Seriously.
