Incredibly hardworking and very bright. Super fast on rulings that are well-researched and exceptionally thorough. Runs a great jury trial and simply adores the juries and the trial process. Jurors leave with renewed faith in the civil justice system. Never puts any pressure on the lawyers or litigants to settle. Always has the jury instructions done and to the parties at least a week before trial. No other judge I know or have heard of does this. Doesn't suffer fools gladly, but is also very understanding of the demands and rigors of trial. Simply superb.
