He is an outstanding trial judge. Very fair, astute, respectful of litigants and lawyers. Regardless of which side you're on, it is a privilege to get to appear before this judge, and especially to try a case in his courtroom. Too bad the same cannot be said for any other judge in the EDVA. Most of them suffer terribly from robitis.
