This is a judge who clearly has her mind made up before even entering the courtroom. Any legal argument advanced which may not support her preconceived notions is summarily dismissed. She rules by personal fiat and is extremely temperamental. The Rubashkin case only highlighted what most Iowa attorneys have known for years: in Judge Reade's courtroom, due process is simply non-existent.
