THE ROBING ROOM

This judge ran a Ferris wheel on the Santa Monica pier before he began to run the same amusement ride from the federal bench. He seems to think that the law is a game of chance, except that no criminal defendant has any chance in his courtroom. This guy is a true judicial lowlife whose political connections got him the job, and who is so lacking in intelligence that he can barely read his opinions from the bench, which he is wont to do. He is the product of a spoils system gone wholly awry. He makes Barney Fife look like a Rhodes Scholar, and Torquemada look like Mary Poppins.
