Judge Lamberth is a no-nonsense judge who will listen to both sides and render a fair decision. Unlike many of his peers in DC he holds many oral arguments on contested motions, and at those arguments indicates that he has personally made himself familiar with the arguments and the record. Notably for this court, he does not genuflect to government attorneys nor to well-heeled litigants. A fair judge in front of whom I always feel I've gotten a fair hearing for my clients, win or lose.
