Everyone loves Judge Johnson, except perhaps some of the folks for whom he has arranged long-term care in Federal penitentiaries. He is courteous, down-to-Earth, unpretentious and runs his courtroom expeditiously and with an even-hand and even temperament. He does not profess to be a legal scholar. But he is an excellent judge.
