Judge Carter gets high marks for industriousness and giving his attention to your case. He typically writes thorough opinions in ruling on motions, and he pays close attention in court. When he's not mad, he's generally very likable. When he's upset, however, he likes to use scheduling as a weapon. He will bring you in extra early or extra late, or he will make you sit in his courtroom waiting, if he finds reason to be displeased with you. He also will make you sit and sweat it out when you need to know about a court date, even at a significant inconvenience to both lawyers and witnesses. And while he is very industrious, he also likes to make the lawyers work extra hard.
