Rarely in this state do we see a Judge exercise rationality and objectivity in the manner that Judge Benitez has. Whether you agree with the ruling or not, he has demonstrated that his priority is addressing the constitutionality of laws, and not judicial activism. The citizens of this state whose rights have long been infringed upon applaud this long-coming rightint of a wrong.
