I think Joe Scoville is involved with the Acton organizaton...a conservative organization composed largely of Catholics. So his rulings are likely to be on the conservative side. However, Joe is a great magistrate who treats all litigants and lawyers respectfully. He is smart and a master of the written word. It is too bad he has not been appointed to a federal judgeship.
