In granting an injunction against Operation Rescue's peaceful abortion business blockades, he described the lawsuit as 'a simple trespass case, only modestly complicated by an unsettled question of federal law.' He got reversed on that unsettled question when we sought review at the Supreme Court. But I never felt him to be mean-spirited, ungentlemanly or unfair.
