This judge knows all the tricks of frequent offender attorneys, and will not let them get away with it. He has an impressive knowledge of the law, and has read all of the pleadings/motions (he will even quote portions to counsel in support of his rulings). He is scary smart. I wish that more judges of the Northern District were as good as Judge Shadur!
