Judge Acker is, overall, an excellent judge who reads and understands the law. He is truly a legal scholar; I think he would be a great Supreme Court justice. He is also fair to all parties. The only reason that I gave him a 9 rather than a 10 on industriousness is that he is getting on in years and has not been in the best health lately (or so I hear, though it hasn't impacted him on the cases I have with him).
