It appears that major firms in civil litigation need fear no sanction, or certainly nothing that is not readily absorbed as a cost of doing business, for flouting compliance with discovery. She will perhaps lecture the non-compliant party but even where delay is the transparent goal of improper and unethical discovery shenanigans, she will let them slide and thereby reward the non-compliance.
