It seems this judge has just helped engineer a serious miscarriage of justice in Sioux Falls in the Rubashkin case. She forbade all witness testimony that showed the defendant to have a sterling character. The defendant in this case was charged with white collar crime (bank fraud), but by adding up every single false invoice and every questionable fax, etc, they came up with 91 counts, which translates into over a thousand years in jail! Not for murder, rape, robbery or assualt but white collar stuff! This judge bent over backwards to help the prosecution and to stifle the defense. If this is justice, what's the meaning of tyranny?
