Judge Nolan is fair and reasonable. She is perfectly capable of handling all types of cases. Any assertion that she should not hear 'business cases' is probably more reflective of the poster's arrogance than Judge Nolan's competence. 'Business litigation' settles because most companies can't afford to get gouged by large firms. That Judge Nolan calls people out when they are unreasonable or cannot appreciate how juries will react to their case (because most of the lawyers have not had to try cases, unlike her), then that is a testament to her doing her job, and not a basis for slamming her.
