Excellent case manager and settlement facilitator. Will make counsel really work hard, but cases move swiftly in his court. His extensive and varied experience as an attorney handling civil cases (from commercial to civil rights litigation) make him very attractive for purposes of consenting to magistrate-judge jurisdiction.
