Judge Ellis: I must say, after your conduct during the Manafort trial, and now with the extraordinary light sentence handed down in your court today, that I am ashamed of your presence on this bench. As a proud graduate of William and Mary, as a proud member of the exteded US Navy family, and as an American who claims the historic birthright of truth and justice, again sir, I am ashamed of your performance in this matter and strongly suggest you revisit your oath of public service and protection of the greater public trust. You are the one who should be ashamed, but I fear you no longer ken the difference between politics and the law.

Hon. T.S. Ellis III
