Judge Tarnow is exceptionally intelligent and scholarly. While he is not afraid to let you know that, he does so in a pleasant way. He has a wonderful sense of humor, making him very easy to work with. His understanding of complex issues is outstanding, as is the quality of his opinions. His motion docket sometimes runs late, but only because he gives attorneys every opportunity to make their case and gets involved in colloquy with them. He always comes to the bench fully prepared. He gets top marks from me.
