Strong Falwell-type conservative religious beliefs. Hence one might view him as 'good' when it comes to keeping the family together, etc. But when he has a conflict or bias, even a strong one, he will not reveal it. He often talks ex parte. Not fond of women as lead counsel, as I've heard complaints from a number of women.
