She then still forced us to continue, and did not convey offers that were made, which actually increased hostility among the parties. Then, at the second attempt at mediation, she tried to strong-arm my client into taking a settlement by having a conversation with the client by phone, which seemed unduly pressuring to me. I would never again use her as a mediator.
