If you face sentencing you WILL get the max. It's why his colleagues at USDC call him 'Maximum Bob.' He's actually a decent guy away fronm the bench--very courteous, almost Jimmy Stewart-like, though Stewart had some charisma, whereas Bob is stodgy. Not a bad guy, just no compassion at all.
