Judge Der-Yeghiayan moves along cases and is not afraid to make decisions. He administers a fair and efficient docket, does not tolerate or condone incompetence and dilatory tactics by attorneys. A review of the record reflects that Judge Der-Yeghiayan's rulings are affirmed by the 7th Circuit in an overwhelming majority of times. It is extremely rare for the 7th Circuit to reverse its own precedent decisions, however, not only has the 7th Circuit affirmed Judge Der-Yeghiayan's rulings, but has also reversed its own longstanding precendent decisions in those cases. This is indeed a tribute to Judge Der-Yeghiayan and I have the highest respect for him.
