In civil litigation, will not tolerate attorneys who attempt to game the system by, e.g, engaging in discovery obfuscation. Acts quickly in discovery disputes to have everything possibly relevant produced, and quickly. Will not let discovery diputes linger and will not tolerate endless discovery. Has a temper, but attempts to be fair. Remembers attorneys' bad conduct throughout case, and will remind offender of it when appropriate. Able to cut through lawyers' fluff to get to the substance of disputes.
